On Saturday, August 12, there was a protest of the far right in the city of Charlottesville, in the US state of Virginia. The city of just over 50,000 inhabitants and only two hours from Washington, was chosen to stage the protest after announcing that you want to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee of a municipal park.

If you think the protest was peaceful, unfortunately it wasn't.:( One person was killed and 33 others were injured on Aug. 12 at this protest in the university town of Charlottesville, Virginia. During the confrontation, a man hit a group of people protesting against the march of the extreme right of the US. The victim, who according to US media reports a 32-year-old woman, did not have the identity disclosed.

Since Donald Trump won the election, the country has been well polarized. I say this because I've never seen such protests happen in the US so violently (taking away those protests that have happened in recent years because of the murder of blacks), but I hope people who survived will be able to recover and those who did not survive, rest in peace!
